Why use 2015 stats ? Same ad as two months ago. Surely the '16 stats have rolled in by now.

It's probably tough for them to keep track as quickly as they are sold. [emoji41]

ours sold in three days, no open house. The other two houses on our street sold in 10 days. They have to add up those million dollars houses in the mix too.

We did not use TV realtors and ours sold in 5 days.

It's not SOLD until it closes. SO even though most are under contract within a few days, it usually takes 30-60 days on RE-SALES to close, especially if using a lender other than Citizens.

If the price is right the house will sell. Most people thing their house is worth more then it really is.

Why 2015 data????..........probably the same adv as she used in 2016 and just updated with a new house.

"slow" ?? Compared to what??? Some years there are more sales, some years less says..........no biggie.

It'll be the kids' problem.

Depends on location, condition, and price. I've seen some on market over year. Sales propaganda.

Well that might be true for some, but not us. We closed 14 days after accepting an offer. Guess we were just lucky.

we started watching listing for the type of home we wanted in January, we ended up buying a new home in May and quite a few of the ones we were following are still for sale, both with The Villages realty and MLS listing. I was told that TV sold 100 new homes and 200 used homes the first 28 days of May. That's pretty good. If you walk through the LSL sales office lobby once a week it shows how many homes are closing that week, seems to average around 70 per week, at least it did in May.

For the past several years, the sales of new TV homes have been around 2,300 per year. While substantially less than their best years, it's still better than other similar builders during these times. We will see if they can or want to increase their per year sales of new homes.
