Attic Fan installer
 

Would like to install electric attic fans, need someone who does good work and priced right. Any suggestions?

We used Sky Tec at 352-347-7088 for solar fans and they seem priced OK and did an excellant job. Cost for the garage was $450 take care kar guy

We want to add an attic exhaust fan too. I asked our home inspector about it after he came down from the attic (140 plus*F) with ambient 100*F. He told me we have to be careful with power attic exhaust based on (I think he said) the architectural design, atmospheric pressure and negative air pressure in the attic. Has anyone heard of this before? Does the previously mentioned solar fan contractor address this?

Solar Guys were doing a house next door. We decided to do ours, we got a price I believe under $400 . We like it.

If you are removing more cfm then the vents can supply, it causes a negative pressure that causes any leaks in the air conditioning to be pulled into the attic. This would be a loss of efficiency in the inside of the home.
