Driving I95
 

Several weeks ago there was a post advising the best way to get to TV from I-95. I remember there was a way to avoid 295 around Jacksinville but that is all I remember. I tried to search for the post but couldn't find it. Any advice to avoid backups would be appreciated. Driving from Cleveland Ohio area.

I95, in FL west on A1A, runs into 301S. Do that all the time. A1A is very nice 4 lanes all the way.

I'll have to disagree with borjo about taking 301, as I have found that taking 301 off of I-10 at Baldwin...is a pain because of all the speed restrictions and traffic lights.

A1A? I think you have your roads wrong

Although A1A is a wonderful road to travel.

I just checked google maps at Callahan, FL to I95 and A1A/200 is correct. We were on there twice last month going and coming from Brunswick, GA and Jekyll Island.

A1A runs north - south from Key West to Fernandina Beach (just south of Georgia) along the coast. If you are coming south on 95 what road do you take to go west towards The Villages going the way you are talking about ?
