Home Inspector Recommendations Needed
Purchasing a site built home that was built in 2000. Needing recommendations for home inspectors, as well as approximately what they charge. Appreciate any feedback.

We used Frank DeAngelo for our one year warranty inspection and he was very thorough. It wasn't terribly expensive, and I don't remember exactly what he charged, but it was well worth the money. Warning though...... he is usually booked up several weeks in advance, but I would contact him to see if he can do it. If he can't, he may be able to recommend someone else.

Frank is GREAT, our 1 year inspection was around $400 as I recall, and worth every penny. Frank goes in the attic, on the roof, as well as through and arounf the house, very through.

We used Frank and his son who has 12 years of HVHC experince they did a wonderful job. They on the roof, in the attic, all over the outside, plus a thermo heat gun that shows spots of heat or AC loss.
We had the finished report the same day via email, they also emailed The Villages Home Warranty Department the inspection report also.:bigbow: |
We also used Frank on our resale inspection. You won't find anyone better. If he isn't available make sure you ask if the inspector is ASHI certified. That is the gold standard for home inspectors. You will find there are some home inspectors that will not do the quality inspection that Frank does.
