Does it look like the future of bricks and mortar Libraries may be diminishing because of e-books?

That makes me sad, if it is true, because I have many happy memories of going to the library.

Even today, I am sure I owe a fine somewhere at a Library. I am usually a pretty responsible person but I was never good at returning books on time.

Anyway, my guess is that funding for Libraries, books etc is not as important as it once was.

Thoughts?
