This is a subject that was brought to my attention by our next door neighbor in Ohio. Ranjana is a OBGYN physician, born in India with further training at Harvard Medical School where she accompanied a group of doctors to Egypt to further study this issue. She said that in countries that actively practice Islam, Genital mutilation of girls is as high as 90%.

This is done to make intercourse painful and to reduce pleasure.

Lost of people of all faiths speak out against this despicable practice which treats women and girls like the property of their fathers and/or husbands.

IF they are TRUE believers/followers...you CAN say...ALL Muslims are the same...all Catholics are the same...all Lutherans are the same...all Mormons are the same...all Hindus are the same...Buddhists...Jews...Taliban...Sunni...Shia.. .etc. There ARE religious laws and practices that the fundamentalists follow.
