Looking for some local honey

Hello all,
I drink Italian coffee (espresso) and a cappuccino every morning. I like a to have local honey to offer guests who drink my espresso.I'm looking for local raw honey not off the shelf processed. Has anyone found a local producer ? Thanks in advance.
Mike

Have you checked out the Saturday farmers market in Brownwood? There are usually a couple of honey vendors there.

I will give it a try. Anyone have a personal preference amongst the vendors ?

I am trying not to respond to this really great straight line.

I realize that many take local honey with the idea it could desensitize some of their local allergies. I just think it's funny.

The Ancient Olive at Lake Sumter Landing carries Honey Feast honey out of Groveland. And they have samples for you to try, too. Excellent!
Honey Feast Company - raw honey farm - local honey jars

Riverview @ Brownwood on Saturday mornings has the BEST honey in Florida.

I have become addicted to Tupelo honey - from the Tupelo trees up in the panhandle, not Tupelo, MS. I bought a jar from the Brownwood honey people at a fairly hefty price. Tupelo honey does NOT crystalize, theirs did. Just saying that I'm not a fan of theirs, although they may carry many fine products. After some research, I found Winter Park Honey out of Orlando. Two years ago, I bought four bottles of the Tupelo honey from them. Delicious, no crystals. The honeys they sell are pure and raw. They sell some of their products at Fresh Market. They also have a website: www.winterparkhoney.com

My Tupelo honey is almost gone after 4-5 months. I have 5 other types of honey, all bought from Riverview at the farmers market in Brownwood. GREAT HONEY! There is another lady that has honey, among other things. Never bought from her.
