Golf Club Labels

We have decided to put a label on each of our golf clubs because we almost lost a club this week. I was able to make the labels at home because I had some return address label stickers and I was able to print them from MS Word. For those who don't here is a link I found with some really nice labels for around $12 incl shipping.

Genuine Pin High Golf Club Labels

No I don't own stock in the company and this isn't my website. I just saw these and they looked nice. I haven't ordered from there before, so I cannot vouch for them. So many times we find clubs on the course with no labels. I suggest the phone number is even more important than the address.

Good idea, I've put my telephone number on all my clubs.
I've attached my labels with shipping tape so they are secure.
Otherwise I find the labels have a short shelf life.

We used the return mail labels that are sent fr to us in the mail. We covered with clear tape. Works well

Yes, we did that at first but having the phone number on them someone can call you right away. With just the address they have to make the effort to come to your house.

Happy with pin High Labels. Still have a few left over after buying new wedges and putters.

Each country club in The Villages can make them for you. Don't remember the cost but it wasn't much. All I had them put on mine was my name and cell phone number.

FYI, the shaft labels are $5.95 at all the Country Clubs and Sarasota Custom Club Shop....... just sayin'

That's good to know. I had never seen them before made especially for golf clubs.

The extra labels work well for other things also. I put one on each golf cart key, just in case.

I bought mine at Palmer and they work great.

A couple of things I've learned however.

1. I only put my name and telephone number on them, as I really don't want my address advertised.

2. They will wear and become unreadable after a while, so I cut strips of clear strapping tape to put over them...which seems to make them last longer.

I have been fortunate so far and haven't had a situation where they were needed, but given the cost of clubs these days...it is very cheap insurance.

I have them on my clubs, but never got back my lost sand wedge

Golf club labels are the cheapest insurance you can buy.

devil here: How do you lose a 400$ driver? If it is stolen they will just pull off the labels. What am i missing. Anyone label their putters? Mine cost 250$ each, if someone grabs them, I doubt anyone will call me. What is needed is imprinting on the clubs (however you will never be able to sell them). I have almost 2000$ in my clubs, I don't think stickers are going to work.

Okay, devil put back in its box....

I think the point of labelling your clubs is to facilitate their return by the 99.9% honest village golfers, not to prevent theft by an unscrupulous hacker. My driver has built in protection by way of its extra stiff shaft---good luck to the average golfer who tries to hit it:jester::jester::jester:

I used to sell these at the club where I worked for 20 years. They are indeed excellent quality.
