RV Storage?

Can anyone recommend a facility that has secure parking for an RV.
We have friends coming in their RV,and they will be here several months. So we need to find a secure but reasonably priced facility. Any suggestions?

Many use "Recreation Plantation RV Resort" located at the east end of The Villages at Rt 466 and Rolling Acres. They charge roughly $38 a month (or any part of a month). It's fenced in and within the campground. It's not paved.

"Fort Knox" is located on Rolling Acres and I understand it's around $60 a month and is paved. I haven't seen it.

The "Villages Storage" located at the west end of The Villages on Rt 466 very close to Rt 301 also has RV storage. I can't remember the pricing, but it's got to be around $60 a month. It's not paved. It is NOT affilitated with The Villages and is privately owned.

Very close to "Villages Storage" on Rt 301 south on the left is another storage facility that appears to be secure. They can't accommodate a large (40 ft) RV on paved surface, but can smaller models. They were very helpful and pleasant. I don't recall their name or the cost.

If you are referring to Oxford Storage south of 466 on Route 301, I stored my trailer there. Every time I went to pick it up, there was another vehicle blocking it in. I had to get somebody to move the blocking vehicle.

When I asked in the office what I would do if it was a weekend and there was nobody available to move a vehicle blocking me, the woman looked at me and said in disgust, "the mentality of you people."

That was my last day there. I'm sure other people have had better experiences.

We have someone coming to visit for a couple days pulling an RV. What are the rules around parking in The Villages for something like that?

Don't bother. I signed up the other day, and secured slot number 26 on the wait list.

Do you have any idea about RV storage in Vancouver, WA? Is it beneficial to store your things at storage unit? I am opting this for the very first time so bit confused. Please let me know your opinion too.
