-no one ever sits at home and watches TV. -no one ever get a telemarketing call on their phone. -everyone wears a jacket or coat even when it appears to be sunny and 90 degrees. -in the 1940's and 50's all men wore suits and ties with a hat, even when at home. -the average person lives in a large studio apartment with brick walls, fancy furniture with widows overlooking the city. -dad was usually a lawyer, doctor or businessman and wore dress clothes even when working on the car. |
