Well, when the bow is docked in Ft. Lauderdale and the stern is docked in Aruba, it won.t ever have to leave port:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Hate hate hate the gigunda ships. Was on Oasis of the Seas. Waited 10-15 minutes for elevator during peak times. Made reservations 8 months in advance for shows. Reservation was lost for 2 of them even though I had copy of the confirmation, couldn't get in. Was with a large group of 60. Consensus of opinion is NEVER again.

Sounds like Disneyland on water.

Allure of the Seas

We were on Allure of the Seas in February of this year and had a great time. I really like the larger ships. Fortunately their are ships of all sizes so you can pick and choose your preferences.

For me cruise ships more does not equal better.

The mega ships, in my opinion, turn the intimate aspect of cruising to more like attending the KY Derby or Indianapolis 500 (even with an upper deck private suite)!

I dislike "herding".

Size matters but bigger is not better! I do not want to pay to be an anonymous sheeple in a huge crowd. I enjoy sailing on smaller ships. One can get to know and socialize with other passengers easily. The ships can get into ports versus requiring rides on tenders. The list goes on...
