Let's see. Campaigner Donald Trump lied pretty much constantly on the campaign trail and now as President he continues to lie. Comey is often way too honest for his own good.

That's funny...EVERY high level government position is a political position...the FBI director IS a political position too...and he IS "dirty" just like all the rest. You don't get there being an altar boy.

If Comey is so honest, why did he with hold the information in his memo to himself alleging Trump's request to drop Flynn issues?

He was able to sit on such a hot potato for all these months. And their value now vs 3 months ago (assuming they exist in the form and content that is being pedaled these days)?

Why is nobody curious if he could have written the memo last week?

Simple Disgruntled fired employee looking for his pound of flesh....he said vs he said......BS!

First be aware, we are not talking about some handwritten note filed in a manilla folder.

We are, as I understand, talking about a memo of understanding typed, printed and date stamped by third party and then filed away and secured. The day he was fired, within minutes all his files were under lock and key.

This has been his practice for many years, his career, and all know about it....see the 2004 case at Ashcrofts bedside.

These are not memos put into a little book simply for his own gratification. He has been known as someone who will always do that and then file it.........it is supposed by many that they are date stamped when he has them typed and then secured.

ALSO be aware that Comey did not challenge Trump.....

Trump is the one who challenged Comey on all the meetings, and mentioned the possibility of tapes....Comey has not challenged him at all.

He has only been firm that he wants to testify but ONLY IN PUBLIC.

In any case, we will hear him testify as I understand next week.

Can not believe ANYTHING Trump says, look at his record.

Comey is well respected and gives me no reason to doubt his honesty,
Especially since he hopes there are tapes!

He did nothing wrong and why you would attack him....well, it is obvious why.

Stay calm...he will show up next week prepared to talk in public UNDER OATH.....we will see.

Turning the tables verbally as you are doing is sort of a dumb thing to do. He has not been charged with anything...he is volunteering to testify and wants it public and under oath.

Agreeing with ONLY DONBALDWIN is sort of a panic move. Baldwin thinks everyone is crooked, and Trump is his poster boy because he has a track record dating back decades and decades of lying and deceit

Check out Comey's sworn testimony of May 3rd. He said not then, so just which way is it?

Is this the same Comey the dems were upset with before the election?

The guy who they have said was the reason their Clinton shoe in lost the election.

The same gut that the dems were saying how he/Comey was out of bounds and not following Lynch's pattern?

Is that the Comey that the same dems are now claiming virgin like, snow white, honest, credible etc.

Now we know it is either political partisan BS or it is a different Comey.

NOBODY said he was told to HALT any investigation. If you read that somewhere it may have been an overzealous poster or something because he never even implied it.

To me, and none of this is impeachment stuff at this point is a request for loyalty...how that was couched is more important to me. It tells what is most important to the President...HIM or the country.

You folks are really grasping....having a President so involved in such controversary, ALL contrived by his actions, is a bit scary, and yet you still defend him.

He will not change...70 years of cheating and lying is not going to change. I bet you thought you would be rooting for policy !!!
