Trump also lied about not cutting SS

Donald Trump'''s Budget Betrays His Pledge Not To Cut Social Security

Quote:

WASHINGTON ― President Donald Trump’s proposed budget for next year would cut Social Security Disability Insurance, despite Trump’s vaunted campaign promise not to make any changes to Social Security.

A summary table indicates the Trump budget would cut disability insurance by $72 billion over 10 years, or about 4 percent of the program’s projected cost.

“It’s my absolute intention to leave Social Security the way it is,” Trump said during the presidential campaign, a promise he repeated several times.

Nancy Altman, president of Social Security Works, a nonprofit that advocates for expanding Social Security benefits across the board, said in a statement on Sunday that the budget amounts to “a flagrant violation” of Trump’s campaign pledge.

Not that another lie from Trump...will surprise any decent person.

Those that thought Trump could resist lying about 90% of the time...raise your closed hands.

Now punch yourself in the face with your fists. :1rotfl:

Nahhh, decent people will ensure that Chump never gets the chance...to "doom" this great country. :ho:

I predict (like his autobiographer) that he will eventually resign, while claiming some kind of 'victory' in his typical delusional universe...in spite of the truth of his humiliating defeat.

This being even while the dwindling % of his cultists...actually still believe everything he says. :ohdear:

If he resigns, it will be to spend more time with his kid, and grandkids. We all know what a family man he really is.

You can forget about resigning. His ego will never let him do it. The Republicans in the Senate don't have the balls to impeach him. Mary McConnell will never ever let that hit the floor. McConnell seeing his own balls isn't something he can even remember, what they look like. His turtle shell hides everything below his neck, and that is a good thing.

SSD is not the same as SS...Dumbfvck!

I know they have similar names, but one is for wackadoodles (40+ year old babies who are unwilling to provide for themselves) and the other is for retired people that worked to support themselves (and the wackadoodles too).

You shoulda read the link...you dip$hit. :1rotfl:

“If you ask 999 people out of 1,000, [they] would tell you that Social Security disability is not part of Social Security,” Mulvaney said on Monday. “It’s old-age retirement that they think of when they think of Social Security.”

Social Security may be better known for retirement insurance, but it’s a little odd for a top government official to cite public misperception to argue that a program called “Social Security Disability Insurance” ― a program that is run by the Social Security Administration ― is not actually part of Social Security.

That is analogous to saying cuts to the Marines are not cuts to our military budget,” Social Security Works president Nancy Altman said Monday.

SSD is under SS, and those with disabilities who are unable to work would be among those "40+ year old babies who are unwilling to provide for themselves". Just shows that you know NOTHING about SS and everything about being heartless. There was a Christmas story about someone like you.....Scrooge was the character, but he actually saw the truth and had a change of heart (because he actually had a heart)

I don't have a problem helping the disabled 40+ babies (unless they got drunk and dove into an empty swimming pool or similar stupid $hit) it's those lazy fvckers that claim mental distress and other wackadoodle SSD excuses that I don't feel they deserve a dime.

If you are so heartfull and want to help them so much, stop taking deductions on your tax returns..."big spender"!

how many lies did you tell your first girlfriend/boyfriend? And then you worked it out. That's the world man, always has been. And to whomever cursed at 40 yr old disabled people for being drunks... would you change places, being disabled is a curse, not fun. I'd like them to all be safe, but if that is their life, I hope they are happy, because it sucks not being disabled and drunk.

Law and order is about to throw a bunch of wackadoodles off of the payroll.

so, you can segregate out those people....good luck. Here is an example of those people who want the freedom and yet have others pay for their consequences: bikers who do not wear helmets and get into crashes that leave them para/quad or in a vegetative state.....so with your argument, ALL should wear helmets, or just outlaw motorcycles......because YOU will not pay.....but SS does NOT take tax revenue, it is funded entirely through insurance (yes, deducted from your paycheck) but that protection is there for you as well.....so just what are you whining about?

I agree that riding a motorcycle without a helmet is stupid. No, I don't think it should be outlawed, nor do I think it should be a law that someone should have to wear a seatbelts in a car (other than children who are too young to make an educated decision). I believe that is thier choice and I don't have a say in how they live or die. No different than the person that smokes or eats themselves to obesit. What I do think is; if they made a poor choice, it should not force me to be financially involved.

So, "make good choices cause life is WORK OR STARVE"!

The difference is that Scrooge is a fictitious character in a Christmas tale about charity. This has nothing to do with SSI or SS, dummy.

Trump has nothing in his budget about taking away from SS or Medicare. PERIOD.

SSDI does serve a necessary purpose. the problem is that the federal government needs to coordinate better with states in order to eliminate the fraud and abuse.

This nation has always taken care of those in true need. However it is interesting to note that the percentage of SSDI recipients grew along with unemployment

It all comes down to one's definition of disability. In my view it means a person who because of mental or physical disabilities is unable to perform in any occupation.
