Looking for a check in for my mother-in-law
 

My wife's mother lives with us here in The Village of Pine Ridge and we travel a few times a year yet she stays at home. We are looking for someone that is willing to call in to check on her, and if needed, come on by if she needs any help. She is pretty independent but may need something done while we are away. Compensation certainly can be discussed based on need.

I believe Community Watch has this service, give them a call.

Call the Sumter County Sheriff's office. They will phone her each day. There is no cost for this service.

There was at one time a business called "The Other Daughter" run by a member of this Forum, who did just that kind of thing.

I would need to contract with a service if it were me, just because I am a worrier. And of course expect to pay.
