Why? Hasn't there been a "Red Phone" direct to the Russians before? Better to talk to each other quickly and directly when tensions are as high as they are? Do you think he's going to use a hotline to give them secrets? Why the worry?

Of course! Why the worry....Trump invites the Russians into the Oval Office to give them secrets, why use a "red phone"......so why the backchannel? Is it perhaps that having Russians go in and out of the White House is too public? or the use of the "red phone" is scrutinized by many others in the intelligence and military fields? or is it that Trump Industries needs another Russian bailout?.......that is what investigations are for: answering questions like that!

Evidently you Trumpsters know very little about the need for having leadership that does not damage our standing in the world, or the standings of our Allies in such organizations like NATO.

Hmmm ...seems to me I can recall watching the news about the 2012 elections and they showed footage where Obama believingthe mic was turned off said sotto voce to Дмитрий Медведев ( Dimitry Medvedev) President of Russia "I'll have more flexibility after the election" (Awkward)
