Guest card?

We do not live in our home in TV. What do we have to do if we ask friends to stay there? They would be staying there while taking care of personal business. Can they get a card to use the country clubs for dining? They would not be playing golf.

This may not come about, but would like to be able to offer our home, if it fits with their plans and would help their situation.

Star,

You can do an online Guest ID request from where you are (if you have a resident ID # and PIN #) and have your Guests pick up the passes when they arrive. They generally want the resident to pickup the guest passes, but, understandedly, this isn't always possible. Your guest just needs to know which rec center to go to, the staff will retrieve the passes filed under your name, and your guests will need picture ID to prove it's them.

Just do the request at least 3 days in advance.

The Guest pass will give them access to adult and family pools as well as the rec centers. No pass is needed to dine at the country clubs.

Do they need a pass?

They will not need the passes to eat at the Country Clubs. But if they want to take a dip in the pool or use the rec centers it is good to have a card. It will also allow them into Katie Bell's. Entertainment is free in the squares and there are some nice open air resturants that you can listen to the music and enjoy a drink and/or dinner with no pass:beer3:.

Katie Belle access with guest cards

Believe they would need a resident guest pass ($50 for 2) to go to Katie Belle's on their own. Otherwise, I think they would need to be with a resident or someone with a resident guest pass. I might have it wrong. I believe you can go there if you're on the Lifestyle Preview Visit, but don't think you can get in with just a regular guest pass. Someone correct me if this is not the case.

Thank you

Thanks everyone for the replies. I will apply for the guest ID in case TV fits in with his recovery. Our friend is having surgery today at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, and will have to stay in the area for two weeks after being released from the hospital. They are from Wisconsin. TV may not work out, but want that option available and waiting.

Thanks again.

Pat

You may want to look into treating them like renters. That way they would considered very similar to residents. This would include no greens fees on executive golf courses. I believe there is a charge for this privilege ($50.00?) but it may be worth it. Call the sales office and I am sure they will refer you to someone who can give you first hand details.
