Help Dead Heading Flowers

I didn't find anything relating to this but wasn't sure if it could or should be placed here. I apologize in advance if it shouldn't be.

We will be on vacation and our garden is actually growing faster than we had expected. The garden is a combination of Florida native and Florida friendly plants. We love the people who take care of our yard but they just aren't who we would like to have dead heading our plants. Do you know of anyone who does this type of work? Thanks for any suggestions/recommendations.

The only reason to dead head is to encourage more bloom. It will be fine while you are on vacation and you can cut the spent flowers off when you get back.

Few would take the time to do this properly anyhow. It's very time consuming when done properly!

But, oh soooooo therapeutic. :)

I am north right now, which is just as well, because I would be trying to talk myself out of signing up to help you.

(I once dead-headed the tulips surrounding a flagpole at a public building in Ohio. I then braided the foliage and tucked it in......I did not work there.)

Cut back everything before you leave.
At least then your flowering plants won't look so straggly.
That won't solve your problem completely, but at least it will help somewhat.
