Picture of bad parking at grandson's baseball game in Indiana. I just HAD to post this!

The roads may not be as crowded at this time of year but bad parking continues unabated. The same is true of the antics that go on in the circles.

I was at a restaurant and a van had park using two spaces (about 20% of second space). They also put out red cones so someone would not try and park in the smaller space. Seem very rude to me, but they were leaving the restaurant the same time I was and had a person in an electric wheelchair and needed the space to get in and out of the vehicle safely. All the handicap spaces were filled. Gives you a different appreciation, but this is a rare exception.

At least he is not taking up two spaces. When I see this, I leave a note saying, "Gosh, your car is so big that you have to use two spaces."

You make a good point. Until my wife had a knee replacement we didn't appreciate the lack of handicap parking, especially around the Squares. I don't know what the requirements are but they seem inadequate.

What's even scarier? These people may breed !

TheDude 06-03-2017 05:44 PM

its not really a big deal, come on people. It is parking. We are retired. Who cares. And that was in Indiana? Please don't get me started. Did your grandson's team win?

Bjeanj 06-03-2017 09:05 PM

Actually, yes his team won. Took many pics Friday, then sat out in the sun today to watch him play a make up game. They had a TON of rain up here the last few weeks. They should send some down to The Villages!
