Need some sod replacement

Has anyone used G & C Landscapes or can you recommend a company for sod replacement? Thank you.

If the sod is just brown, due to the extreme lack of rain, you might want to wait since we are now getting into the rainy season, and it might come back. In any case, you might want to wait also due to the watering restrictions and the 10% penalty on water usage.
While digging up the existing grass is a pain, Home depot carries sod if you are a do it yourself person, and if this is a small area.

As in post #2, it has been extremely dry. Grass can and does go dormant under drought conditions. It may well come back.

If, part of your lawn has in fact died and does not recover,
it is more important that you discover why and correct the problem. If, you spend the money to plant sod without correcting why the original died the new sod will simply die of the same cause.

I so agree with both of these posters. Wait until the end of summer and have your irrigation system looked at and check into mole crickets.

Good advice, most brown lawns will recover with rainfall, and this includes the golf courses. RE: Sod at Home Depot. I bought a few pieces of Empire Zoysia from them a month or so ago. My neighbor wanted some sod pieces and was told by Home Depot they would not be getting any more sod from the growers until there is ample rain. I would call HD first.

Water your lawn. Don't resod.
