Practice Bunkers
 

Anyone know where there are decent practice bunkers here in the villages other than the one behind the Lopez driving range pond near the MMP that runs by it. You can tire yourself out chasing balls miss hit down the hill, into the water, or on the path.:wave:

I believe Sarasota.

Sarasota would be correct. Across the street from the Golf shop. They do need to move the sand from the sides to the bottom, but all in all a great place to practice short bunker shots.

Also Palmer, out behind the golf club shop.

I'll check into Palmer. I was under the impression that one was for academy or instructional use only. Thanks.

There are two practice bunkers at Glenview. One is on the side of the practice green near the first tee of the Fox Run nine, and you must hit shots away from the practice green. The other is next to the chipping green next to the first tee of the Stirrup Cup nine, and you can hit onto the green. Neither is kept in very good condition, but you can rake a decent sand lie yourself.

I've been to the one in Sarasota, it's not bad
