Winners and Losers in the Comey Testimony. No Fuzz.

Winners and Losers from James Comey's testimony - CNNPolitics.com

Had not heard that before "No Fuzz". Wonder where it comes from?:bigbow:

Winner is Comey

Loser is McCain, what the hell was he talking about, even referred to Comey as PRESIDENT Comey.

Ultimately the Losers are the American people, this will go on and on and on!

You are right about that. We do lose when the system seems stuck in its own rut. Donald John Trump was kind of a hope for real change but the man has real trouble with telling the truth about much of anything. He may still make significant change in DC but not how he wanted to do this.

I believe that the eventual real winner...will be shown to be decent American citizens.

Finally, someone of character, integrity and ethics willing to stand up and call the Liar in Chief...a Liar. :bigbow:

Now show us the tapes of yours and Comey's conversations AND your tax returns...Chump!

Perhaps he thought the hearing was about Clinton's emails.

Maybe you were not listening to McCain's questions? Other than a bit of confusion, he made a very good and valid point. I wonder if his daughter gave him that question, because I do not think he is smart enough to come up with it himself.

He asked Comey why it is that the investigation was related to any campaign collusion between the Russians and the campaign, then why did Comey investigate Trump's campaign and NOT Hillary's? He said that Comey was letting Hillary off the hook by saying so publicly, but he did not say that Trump was not being investigated until now, by his illegal leaks to the news media.

That was an interesting area of questioning. I do not like McCain and believe he has been attempting to sabotage Trump all along, but this was a good line of questioning.

The winner was Trump and the loser was Comey. Trump was vindicated and Comey basically tied the knot on the rope to hang himself.

Comey was fired because of incompetence. His subordinates did not agree with or like the way he MIS-handled the Hillary email felony investigation, so his department was in disarray. His own people wanted him gone, and when Trump fired him, he illegally leaked sensitive information to the media. He also vindicated Trump by answering his reason for NOT acting on Lynches demand and what he "thought" Trump meant, by saying he was "weak." A weak director is not good and should have been fired by Obama. Comey will be unemployable for a while. No one will want to hire a "disloyal" and "weak" individual like that.

:1rotfl:

Republicans declaring victory, after their Demigod has publicly been called a liar and shown to try and bully what's supposed to be an independent law enforcement official...is a sign of total desperation.

Only true cultists could even go there.

Now, having said that, proving any 'obstruction of justice' charges will be purely political and I see Chump slithering out from under it...from politicians who are exactly as unethical, Un-American and scummy as the types of people we see posting here. :ohdear:

Deepest Sincere Wishes:

The losers are the American people whose representatives are wasting our time and money on this show.

Congressional hearings are nothing more than publicity opportunities for members of Congress. They all sit there and get their faces on television while asking "gotcha" questions and arguing with the witnesses. In the meantime, no legislation is getting passed.

A special prosecutor has been assigned to this case. He will eventually get to the bottom of everything or at least find out as much as can be determined. Why are these idiots wasting their time supposedly doing the same thing?

The fact that Comey has stated that he told the president several times that he was not under investigation and that the president did nothing illegal pretty much clears the president.

The fact that the head of the FBI interviewed Hillary Clinton for three hours and made no record of any kind while jotting down notes from a dinner with the president discredits makes former Director Comey look pretty bad.

His testimony regarding Loretta Lynch and her meeting with President Clinton on the tarmac was very damaging to the Clintons.

The fact that, based on his testimony, there was plenty of evidence to indict Hillary Clinton and he decided not is very problematic.

But again. These hearing are all about re-election and will no bearing whatsoever on the outcome of these cases.

Trump is the swamp! He jumped right in when he got there. Made so many mistakes before he got to DC. From putting down the intelligence community to attacking all of the media as fake news. Those are the last two groups you want to fight with. One can stab you in the back and the other has the pen which is mightier then the sword. All of his skeletons will come out later this year. I see the odds at 25-1 of him being President by the end of the year.

Of course he is part of the swamp...HOW do you think he got there? You think they'd allow just ANYONE to be president? Really?

Those who really run the country don't care who gets elected...they own them all. Kick out Trump, another of "their guys" will take over. Keeping us bickering is GOOD for them...keeps us from banding together and going after them.

The pen is mightier than the sword? Really? Why do people believe such bullsh!t? With the pen you can lie your way out of things...but ONLY for so long. Eventually the "sword" chops your head off.

The pen is the lies they spew...definitely mightier than the truth.
