Google "Sinkhole opens up at Glenview golf course". That should pull it up.

Daily Sun article indicated there were 3 sink holes on the golf course, and the morning news indicated they were already being filled....RATS I was hoping to get in one round of golf there, I was looking forward to putting to a 20 foot cup. :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

They say it's near the pond on the 8th hole of the Tally Ho nine of Glenview CC. The water must be the big pond behind the tee since there's no water between the tee and green. I remember a sink hole I believe it was the 6th tee, about four years ago. It was very large and you had to tee from about 30 yards down the fairway. Since 6, 7 and 8 wrap around that pond, those two places are probably only about 150 yards apart and I believe they are separated by a CYV community.

Thanks, that was taken last month at the new Bob Evans by a neighbor with his phone. In the shower I do use body wash for sensitive skin, either Dove or Equate. I had a different avatar photo before taken with my computer but it was from 2012, so I thought I would update it. Two people at the gym in the past month both said I look like I'm in my 50's, and I'll 67 in July.

At the risk of raining on the parade----too much information:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

The other news posted tonight that another sink hole has opened in Liberty Park (Abercrombie Way), right up next to the house foundation. The news on the television tonight said one in Ocala opened in a roadway, and a car came to rest in it. I guess extreme dry weather followed by heavy rain accelerates the conditions for sink hole development.

Sinkhole season?

Drove by that one today. It is in a parking lot and not affecting the road. The area of the hole is higher than the road way. It will be interesting to learn what caused the problem.

Generally, several dry months followed by heavy rains may cause a sinkhole.
