Looking for recommendations and pricing for installers of motorized sun shades for our lanai.

TIA

Motorized Screens

We used Cool Breeze for our installs. We love our motorized screens!!! We use them every day.

We have four on our lanai and one on our golf cart garage (mainly to capture breeze through the garage and whole house to lanai).

We paid between $1800 to $2,500 per screen. Size is a factor as well as how many are installed at one time.

We have unmotorized screens that you raise and lower manually. Very effective. Purchased from either Lowes or Home Depot and drastically reduces heat and helps with privacy.

Cool Breeze did ours. Very happy with product and service.

I have no idea on pricing, but Dress Up Your Window in Leesburg does them. We are currently working with them on interior window treatments and they are friendly and easy to work with.

Cool Breeze did ours also and have been very pleased with it but 1 word of warning. A few months after installation, the screen go caught as it was rolling down and it created a fold in the wrapping. Called Cool Breeze to come out to fix it. They were in the area and stopped by as soon as they got the message. It was literally a two minute adjustment and cost a $100 service charge. I thought he was joking when I asked him how much and he said 100 bucks when I figured it would have been a fraction of that.

Left a chair where the screen comes down. My fault and got charged. I think if it were a manufacturing or installation problem it would have been fixed no charge. If that was your case they shouldn't have a $100.00 charge.

Chi- Town,
True if the screen unit is a manufacturing or installation problem there is no charge.

I have attached the Additional Item form I hand out to each customer after installation explaining this situation.

We have Quality products and Service after the sale.

Never got that notice and nowhere does it mention the fee for a service call. Had I been aware of this, I certainly would have saved the $100 and fixed it myself. Doesn't matter, I just think $100 for a 5 minute adjustment when you happen to be in the area just seems to me way unreasonable, IMHO.
