Lantana sliders

Would like some suggestions for window treatment ideas for lantana sliders and company you would recommend.

Thanks.

Vertical cellular blinds

Not Lantana, but we went with vertical cellular blinds at Lowes that pull straight across entire 12 feet of doors. Another set for the 6 foot doors. Easy, smooth open and close and energy efficient. Wanted to take full advantage of the outdoor light and view.
Our double doors open from the middle and if ever do it again might consider left and right sides that meet in the middle. Wouldn't be as clean looking when closed though.

Lowes was easy to deal with and the installer very professional. They always seem to be "on sale."

We went with a 12' Hunter Douglas (luminette) curtains that can be adjusted for light to pass through and can be opened & a big valence that spans the doors--not cheap but the admiral hates vertical blinds , they open and meet in the middle

We have blinds like HihoSteveO. We have a Gardenia with a good view, and did not want to obstruct it, but need sun control in late summer. The soft fabric also helps with acoustics for movie watching.

DH installed them, and there was some cussing involved.:swear:

We have found that vertical blinds are always broken. The parts are delicate and will break with very little stress. Particularly bad for door ways (sliders).

Bali (Home Depot & Lowes) has a panel slider that telescopes to one side. Have used on 8 foot sliders with good success. Simpler to open and much more durable.

Also like and have used the Hunter Douglas type. Various options, simple manual raise. Can also do power. Cost is always a factor. For a long span will likely require two, leaving some gap in middle. These have had the best reliability for us.
