One possible problem, as I understand it the compensation to the brokers varies between traditional supplemental plans and the advantage plans, so you may not be getting the plan that is best for you. Do your own reviews of any suggested plans to make sure you are getting the best plan for your situation. If you do a search on this site for SHINE, they hold local meetings to help, and they do NOT sell insurance plans, they provide unbiased information on the various alternatives.
