Bus from The Villages to Amtrak Jacksonville

Can anyone tell me if this service exists, and how to contact them. Also the price. I live in The Villages but will be catching the train in Jacksonville. Thank you.

Amtrak has a bus/train from wildwood to winter haven, which is the stop past lakeland. I just took it. You have to book a train leg so I paid to go to winter haven but got off in Lakeland.

Amtrak

Check the 3rd page in the middle for Villages' connections. You should call to verify.

Thank you all for good input. To qualify for bus pick up, one must go to Amtrak site and use the phone tree ending up with "change my reservation." A live person or facsimile thereof will tell you where the bus pick up is located and reserve a seat on the bus. For the villages there is one on 441 adjacent to the BP station . There is another in Wildwood but for 441 suits us better. I am sight impaired and can longer drive.

That looks to be across from the CVS at Avenida Central. The BP station I mean. A little south of that CVS which I know fairly well.

Thanks for that. My older brother just took a trip to NYC from DC via Amtrak and spoke with a bunch of agents about a book he just wrote. Seven agents are looking at it now. He might get something published again. There have been many budding writers in my family over the years so I might be taking a similar train trip if I can stop being so distracted by other stuff. I go up to DC once in a while too. I have taken Amtrak a number of times and still love travelling by train.
