Talk of The Villages Florida - The Rose Plantation

Six of us had dinner at The Rose Plantation in Fruitland Park last night. All 3 couples ordered from the special summer menu that is $56 for 2. Split an appetizer , fresh salad, entree with 2 sides and split a dessert. Bottles of house wine are 50% discounted. The choices for appetizers were bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms or pasta purses. The purses were delicious they were stuffed with 4 different types of cheese. The other 2 couples had the stuffed mushrooms and they said they were great. Entree choices include chicken picatta, a fish, braised veal chop or crab cake. I had the crab cake and it was 95% crab delicious. Two had the chicken and they enjoyed it, the braised veal chop was very good and so was the fish. One couple split the bread pudding and they said it was very good. 2 couples split the tiramisu and it was very very good. Great service from John. We will return very soon.
