How many ToTV sign-on's do you have??
How many??
|
I didn't know you could have more than one.

Why would you need more than one, let alone three?

For better or worse
One and just as relevant is the username I originally signed on with is the username I continue to use. there are a number of posters who may be using one username but they continually to change their username. some you can detect others do a better job of camouflage

Buuuut, I just proved you could. :1rotfl: PS. The rules state you can only have one account. I hope the admin's eventually have the capability of matching up different user names with the same IP address...and boot them ALL. |

Especially given that Admin's can probably see...who voted for what. I assume you're the one that picked '3?' |

Another means to find those with multiple user accounts seems to be needed then. |
This is a public Bulletin Board. All you need is a valid, at the time you create the account, email address. Anyone in the world can be a member. If someone does get kicked off all they need to do is start again with a different email address. A better and more interesting poll would be how many email accounts do you use.
Tracking by IP address for individual users? I often wonder how these crazy ideas get spread about how the internet works. Against site rules?? |

People say, and I must respect their views, that giving up their real identity opens them to identity theft and that is indeed serious. I think that hiding behind a screen name (or several) allows people to say things they never would, or could say to another human in person. Those are my views. Grace Gantner |

Banning just a user name, allows that person to rejoin with a new user name... with/without a new e-mail address. Banning by IP address, means that a new user name/e-mail address doesn't matter...and they can't rejoin. A guide to banning disruptive forum members. | ProBoards Quote:
Like duhbear said above though, an IP ban means that anyone using that IP Address in the house cannot get back on the site...so might not be fair if there's a problem with only one of the household users. Quote:
