Boarding of a cat for a few months

I am looking for a place I can board my mother's cat for a few months, roughly early August until early January. I will pay someone to keep the neutered adult cat in their home, pay for his food and supplies. The cat is current on his innoculations. If you know of someone who does this, please PM me. Thanks in advance.

Place to board a cat, long term

I am looking for a place I can board a cat for several months. The cat is a neutered male who is current on his innoculations. The term is early August until late December or early January. In addition to paying this person, I'd be happy to supply the cat's food and litter. Please PM if you are aware of someone who will take the cat in.

As it is long term, I am not interested in boarding him at a daily rate or similar, and especially so if the cat will be contained to a small cage.

Thanks in advance.

Is this the same kitty that was missing a couple of years ago, for a LONG time?

Boarding for a cat, long term

This is not Oliver. This is Oliver's replacement.

Sadly, Oliver was never found. Oliver, like this cat, was microchipped.

Re cat boarding, long term

The replacement for Oliver is known as Ollie.

He is about ten pounds, neutered, a domestic short hair. I mention his weight as many red tabby males can get to be huge. Not so...he is on the thin side.

It appears that my relative, a resident, is no longer able to care for Ollie. I will be there in a few months but need a short term boarding solution for him.

Thanks in advance.

August to December or January is 6 months. Our cat has issues when we leave her for 3 weeks.

Re: LT boarding for a cat

I ended up bringing him back north. It is difficult to a very small house and the presence of another cat but it will to do until i move south later on. Thanks, all.

So true. Our brown tabby male is 25% Maine Coon and hangs right around 17 pounds. And I only feed him the Vet recommended 1/4 cup of dry food twice a day. He eats no people food. Never even has any interest in it. But he is big and fat no matter what. Loveable but fat.
