radial golf cart tires

i'm ordering a new cart, one of the options are 10" radial tires... does anyone have them? is it a better ride from the standard tires? I've heard they make a whiny noise? thx.

I canceled my radial tires on a 2018 Yamaha. I talked to someone that had them and they rub when wheel is cramped. Evidently a new shock needs to be designed to remedy this.
As of a couple of weeks ago, Yamaha had no fix. Ask your dealer what he knows about them.

If you could get that cart up to 50mph you'd feel a difference. I think the Yamaha is a great handling vehicle as is.

Need to check your FADEC and ABFC.

I have 8" radials on my Club Car from the Villages Golf Cart and the bounce like they are square, I've complained but they blew me off. So, I'm not sure if it is all radials or just the ones from them.

My cart has 205/65/10 Tires. What size were the Radials? I like the 65's they absorb bump and uneven roads bounce at 18 PSI. Tires helps the shocks absorb the bumps due to tall side wall IMO.

I have 14" Michelin car tires on mine and it is fine as long as you keep the pressure right.

I ordered a new 18 Yamaha with radial tires from Villages GC. I read this thread and then showed it to my Rep who showed it to his superiors. He called back to say no issue with what I ordered. Says their business with radials is growing quickly and people love them. We shall see when my cart arrives !

How are the radial tires working out? No one has commented for a couple of months. The dealers all have their opinions, but they differ, so I'm turning to the owners for the real story. Thanks!

Radial Golf cart tires are not new, many years ago they were tried

I'm sure however, now they are better.

They told me to pump up the pressure to 30 ... didn't help

I also have a Club Car with 8 inch wheels. And....no...my cart does not bounce like it has square wheels. If yours does, you simply need new shocks or your tires are defective somehow. I have a friend who bought a 2018 golf cart 2 days ago with 10 inch radial tires and alloy wheels. Looks nice! Has a "flat" tread too, like most radial tires. The owner claims it is very smooth riding and quiet.
