Does anyone remember the last Presidential Chief of Staff? It was General Alexander Haig who was COS for Ronnie Reagan.

When Ronnie was shot and taken to a hospital, Al Haig was telling all the staff in the White House that he was in charge of the country now. Crazy Al didn't realize that the COS (a glorified secretary) is no where in the line of succession.

Hmm, did Adolf Hitler have a military man as his Chief of Staff?
