Best place to buy new tires?

I did try to do a search but could not find anything using the word tires.
I am looking for a Michelin dealer that is known for honesty and good service.
I hesitate to go to the dealer where I purchased the vehicle as they will most likely be the highest price. However I would do so if there are no known good tire shops around.

wildwood tire is a great family run tire store
bought my Michelins there and he beat every price in town

Sam's Club

Price very good

Service takes forever

(Walmart does tire rotations for $10 and doesn't take too long if you get there early)

.

Another vote for Wildwood tire (on 44, just west of 301), I was there today, needed a new tire and a front end alignment, everything completed in around 2 hours, and at a much better cost than I would have had at the VW dealer.

Buy them online at Tirerack.com. Best price, shipped to a local installer you select from a list of pre-approved and set price they negotiate so even the install is at a lower price. Now every dealer who does them tries to up sell you something you don't need, but just say no.

Sumter Tire on 301 in Wildwood - Wildwood Tire on 44 in Wildwood
Both family run, honest, fair price, reliable,

Sam's Club. They have an inexpensive installation charge that includes lifetime balancing, rotation, and tire repair. Costco also but there aren't any very close.

Without question, Wildwood Tire.just replaced my tires there and the service was fantastic, prices less than big box stores Costco and Sam's and the gentleman at the counter found a $50 mail in credit which I was totally unaware of. Great people. And the offer free Bibles to anyone that would like but may not have one.

Another thumbs up for Sumter tire. I've bought three sets of tires there over the past five years. Owner Larry and his son Bobby do a great job.

Sam's Club for me too

retiredguy123 07-30-2017 08:49 AM

I think that anybody will match any price quote you have, except for the warehouse and online prices. So, if you don't want to go to Sam's, just find the lowest price and buy the tires wherever you want.
