Obama gets a lot of credit for being a good speaker.
 

Some even say a great speaker. And others call him one of the greatest speakers.
Really?

I have been around the speaking circuit with some of the best. The really great speakers know their subject(s) cold. Teleprompters almost never ever used. Notes on occasion for reference only....not reading from.

I categorize Obama the same as news anchors.....they are good READERS. Everything that comes out of their mouths is scripted and choreographed.
As a result one is not hearing or seeing the real person. Off the teleprompter, speech book or notes, Obama is no more talented a speaker than most any others in his profession.

Kinda like a tape player....just plug in the tape and turn on the switch. A tape player does not have to worry that it played I am behind you 100% today and tomorrow it will play sorry I can't help you with that.....JUST LIKE A POLITICIAN!!!

I think he is a good reader....who has being POTUS going for him (for now anyway).
