Just created one of these for 2017. These have been rather painful for me in the past with my selections.

I believe this is where the prize money came in as ZCaveman was able to get in a lot of people.

He had 131 players in his Survivor League. He had to do a massive amount of work though with his League. Mine is already set up by the NFL.

Tell me if there are any problems signing up!

I am confused. I signed up for the yahoo league. Is this different? I am one of the 8 in that league.

This is the league where you pick one winner that week and everyone who gets that right moves onto the next week. If you pick the wrong team, you are out the rest of the year. And you can only pick different teams to win over subsequent weeks. No Patriots every time but you could pick their opponents each week and pray there is no upset.

Sometimes half the people are out on a week with a favorite being upset.

Zcaveman managed to get a sponsor to put up $400 for awards. $300 to the winner. And $100 to the runner up.

I hope we can wrangle a sponsor. He had 131 competitors in his 2015 NFL Survivor pool though.

I have given us quite a lot of time to get a good number people playing.

I noticed some have picks made already. You must know these teams already. I have to do a lot of research and then the experts often steer me wrong.

I do not know how zcaveman did all this on his own computer. Quite a lot of work IMHO.

We now have 115 people in the League. You can pick up to just before the game you are picking the team plays in as the winner starts. So, I guess you could join up to the last game of the first week of this season.

I often get knocked out early because of upsets.

My pick is in for this week but it looks like I can still change it if my research looks like some team is a better choice as far as long term strategy is concerned. I might go out in the first week though because of an upset.
