That's the one.
I really liked their subs, or as we say in NY, Heros

Awwww

I feel so bad...I knew the family that owned it..He was a hard worker, was always there to see things went right..
What could have happened...

I can't understand with all the people in TV, why are all these restaurants going under?????????????????

BobKat1 09-21-2009 11:46 AM

With small franchises it's hard to weather the down times/seasons if you don't have the reserves to keep the business running. I have a neighbor who is in the same boat.

The big guys are better equipped to ride things out.

I thought the place was adequate -- better than the other sub chains, but that is damning by faint praise. But I NEVER saw a crowd in there, 3 or 4 customers max, generally empty. Great for fast service, lousy for return on investment. And if the owners were always there, they hid well. I don't remember ever seeing anyone over 19 behind the counter.

Yogi said it about ballparks, but it especially fits restaurants: If people don't want to come out to the ball park, nobody's gonna stop 'em.
