Things Are Changing...
 

The link below is a presentation to the Colorado Renewable Energy Society by Tony Seba (bio link below).


This is not a Climate Change oriented presentation. This is about technology change and economics (i.e., Engineering, MBA, Venture Capital/Think Tank).


However, the presentation is in simple layman's terms. Most people will easily and readily understand and the significance of this stuff.


The presentation is about the convergence of several technologies; Solar Photovoltaic Tech, Battery Tech, and Artificial Intelligence/Miniaturized Electronics.


The presenter is describing how we are nearing the "Tipping Point" in Renewable Energy (i.e., Solar Photovoltaic Adoption) and Electric/Autonomous Vehicles.


Why will it "Tip"? Because it is going to be much lower cost (i.e., economics) along with other big benefits.

Why might you care? This will cause some fundamental changes.

The presentation is ~ 1 hr.


If nothing else watch the opening of the presentation as he talks about how quickly certain changes are adopted. It should grab your attention quickly and makes the point.

I haven't opened the link, but just one question: What is this guy selling???? Is he promoting a book, or a franchise opportunity, or a lecture series???? I'm generally cynical when I see someone who wants to spend his own time, effort and money just to "inform" me.

Can't do it. My attention span has become so short that I only read one panel comic strips.
