enough is enough

How many of you are fed up with the endless barrage of Flonase commercials that are kind enough to educate us to the fact that "six is greater than one". Thank you, Glaxo Smith Klein for the Romper Room math lesson, but I think we all get it. Enough is enough

Bad Marketing: Flonase: 6>1; this changes everything?

Others seem to share your annoyance, GE. Had not even noticed it myself.

I LOVE the commercial with Boys2Men singing the side effects. Only problem, I don't know the product being advertised. Can't get enough of Sweaty eyelids and flatulence.

You could probably clear the hospital waiting room with enough gassy outbursts.

LOL - And just in case you don't yet have an ear worm ...
Lyrics:
So your new prescription does have a few side-effects.
Oh, like what?

♬You’re gonna have dizziness.
nausea, and sweaty eyelids.
And in certain cases chronic flatulence.♬

No.

♬Sooooo gassy girl.
So gassy. ♬

If you’re Boyz II Men, you make anything sound good.
It’s what you do.
If you want to save fifteen percent or more on car insurance, you switch to GEICO.
It’s what you do.

Next!

My reaction to the list of side effects: Mmm, good stuff Maynard.

It's just Marketing.

It's like "The Friendliest" or "The Healthiest".....people think if it's stated, it must be fact. I've heard of people actually thinking marketing slogans are fact.

The ONLY time I happen to watch commercials is:

1. During Super Bowl
2. When I can't hit fastforward quick enough on DVRd programs
3. When I can't hit SwitchChannel quick enough on Live programs

I PAY (DirectTV) to watch my TV - will not sit thru commercials if I can possibly avoid.

That's a great idea. It leaves you more time to answer the call from telemarketers from a spoofed local number:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

They make a prescription medicine for all of the side effects and if that medicine produces side effects, well there is a prescription for those too. A chemical merry go round producing vast amounts of $$$$. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

So, I can cure the sweaty eyelids? Wonder what the side effects to that med would be. Think I'll keep the gas -- would keep the tables around me free from service dogs and food snobs.
