What happened to snarky?
 
Has the word "snarky" fallen out of favor or has snarkyness abated? I used the see the word used frequently on this forum, but lately, nada, zip, zilch.

On a list of 57 snarky synonyms I would chose mordant. I don't believe I have ever seen it written or heard it said.

I also thought it was one of the regular "posters". ---- And if so, perhaps "Snarky" just went too far and was "offed" somehow.
