Exhaust hose
 

I was noticing a change in the exhaust sound, the engine backfired and there is a vibration sound. I found the house to the tailpipe had split in half.
Is this a special hose for heat?
Could the tailpipe be making the vibration sound?
Would the cart run a little different because of this?

Yes, that is a Special heat resistant hose and it is a aftermarket product that is installed to bring exhaust noise and fumes out to the side of the cart.
