Advice/Input for Vet for In the home Euthanasia

My 19.5 year old cat is in kidney failure and I can't be selfish anymore and dont want to see him leave this world in seizures..I have decided I will put him down in the home so he is not stressed out in a Vets office...better for me too... Can anybody recommend one?...Thank You! 😭

I'm sorry for your very sad situation.
I assume you have a vet and if that be the case, I would call and speak to him/her regarding what you want to do.
If that doesn't work, I don't think you have much choice other than calling vets in the area to see if they can accommodate your wishes.

Look in the yellow pages. I remember seeing an ad somewhere for a mobile vet. Hope this helps in you time of need.

When we had to put down our dog, the vet let us keep the dog in the car, and he came out to take care of it. So we didn't have to take the dog into the office. This was in CA, though, so I don't have a name for you here, but you could ask if they could do that for you.

House Calls Mobile Pet Clinic (Dr. Rebecca Fratello) services the Villages. Phone: 352-815-0404, Emergency care: 352-728-4440. We have not personally used her, but she was highly recommended by another vet.

Doctor in the House Mobile Veterinary (Dr. Tony Mutchler) services a wider area which I believe includes the Villages. Phone: 352-615-3997. We personally use him for our elderly cat (Ocala) and have been very satisfied.

Will be thinking about you--good luck.
