We are thinking of hiring SMI Construction for some remodeling work on our house. can I get some feed back from someone that has used them in the past or are under contract with them now; please?

who is the owner?

Do they have a place of business? Get a insurance certificate--Check with the state for license and see how long they have been in business and check with the county for permits they have pulled-find out who their subs are-see how many businesses the owner has been in and or out of

Florida is the construction scam capital also, by posting your phone #-all the businesses buds can call and say they're satisfied customers--

Verify,verify,verify

someone who had them do work for them said they were very slow--months and months.
