Show canceled at the Sharon......wonder why?

He does not have any concerts listed after September on his web- site. Maybe he is taking a break.

perhaps poor ticket sales?

I have a ticket for the Debby Boone show at The Sharon next Friday. Sales have been slow = about 1/2 sold as of today...

It's off season. I went to the 7:30 second show of the Yardbirds last March during snowbird season and it was about 90% full at the Savannah and the 5:00 show was sold out because I tried to get tickets and only 2 separate seats were left. They have great music but only one orginal member, the drummer, but yet I calculate they sold about 1500 tickets. The Savannah capacity is 844 and the Sharon capacity is about 1100. Maybe due to costs the Ben Vereen Show they needed the bigger venue, I don't know if he was doing two shows here? Ticket prices are usually higher at the Sharon, and when you see those lower priced $25 tickets and the others are $80 to $120, I hear those cheap seats are obstructed view so most are going to have to pay the higher price.

I see the update, is that to allow for more time to sell tickets and also puts it into early snowbird season. That's a smart move.

I met Mr. Vereen at a Physical Rehab in West Orange N.J. in the early 90's. He was recovering from injuries from a car accident. I'm glad to hear he is still performing. What a talented person and kind man. I'm going to try to make his show. Thank's for posting this.

Apparently, he had minor back surgery.

Good to hear that he is a kind man Nucky. I had been playing around with going to that as well. I need to check out the Sharon at some point.
