Shane (1953) - Rotten Tomatoes

Still an excellent movie after all this time. :BigApplause: And movie characters refer back to it.

Come back Shane

One of my favorite all time movies. I first saw Shane in 53' at the Drive-In Theatre and remember the long line of cars lined up to see this classic movie. What the world needs is more western movies!

I loved the movie also; but, I knew Brandon deWilde when his family vacationed in Bay Head, NJ...hung out with Brandon and his friends, went to parties, went to the beach with him, etc. I hate to say it, but the movie "Shane" in which he starred, went to his head.

I always thought that the child character was a little bit of a sociopath. He loved to watch men fight.

I see he died very young in a car accident. Brandon deWilde - Wikipedia

Remember this was 1953 when it came out, compared to today's movies not even close. As kid I say most gather around when fight broke out on play ground. It's the animal instinct in use.

As for the movie one of the All time best IMO.
