Salt Lake City Recommendations
 

My wife and I threw the dart and our next travel destination became Salt Lake City . Made reservations to get there last night. Traveling Wed 9/27 and returning Wed 10/4. So we have 6 days to tour the area.

Would appreciate recommendations from Villagers familiar with the area. Hotel location, trips , sites

We normally like to book a hotel and do day trips.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Great Salt Lake? Wasatch Mountains, Cottonwood canyon, downtown SLC.
