Did You Know This?
The tiny city-state of Vatican City consumes more wine per capita than any other country in the world. Its wine consumption is almost double the per-capita consumption of Italy, the nation that surrounds it. Possible contributing factors to the rate of wine consumption are the overwhelmingly male population that is highly educated and usually eats in a communal setting. There's also the fact that the Vatican's one supermarket sells wines virtually tax-free.

I wonder how those per capita rates compare to other cities, as Vatican City is more a city than a nation. Heck, how does TV stack up against those numbers?

I would assume they consume a lot of little dry tasteless wafers as well.

Presto!
:shocked:Does that count the water that they turn into wine? Or is that separate?
