Pool Service
 

Can anyone recommend a good reputable and consistent pool service company. I had T&D in the past; dropped them because they didnt' show up when scheduled and their customer service was terrible. I switched over to Tri County. Same problem, they don't show up when scheduled and never let me know their not coming, even after the owner told me it's his policy to notify customers when their scheduled service day has to be changed. It's happend too many times these past few months. No show, no phone call and plenty of excuses. It's getting old!

Anyone have good experiences with other pool service companies?

I've had T&D for pool service for almost a year and they have never missed. Others I've talked to have been happy with their service. Perhaps you got a bad apple.

originally Florida Spa and Pool.....for four years. They built our pool as well. I cannot imagine you were dealing with the same people.
We have had two different techs in four years. Both 100% reliable....going above and beyond.
As for customer service, they have been spot on and ready and able to serve with dispatch.

When you call ask for the supervisor who handles the pool servicing and tell her what your experience has been.

I actually have never heard anybody who was unhappy with them.

That's amazing - I know a few people who have dropped T&D for the same reasons - lousy customer service and not consistent.

Is it under new management? I had them when we first moved in almost a year ago but let them go after 3-4 months.

It's all about who shows up to service your pool. I had someone who was really good, they got replaced by someone who was terrible, I called them to fire them, they switched the service person and now they are fine again.

But if I could find someone more consistent, I would hire them.

I've bragged several times here about T&D because they did a fantastic job designing and building my pool and spa four years ago. But their company is so large now that not all divisions are as efficient as the pool construction workers and their very talented and organized foremen. Their pool maintenance can be spotty. I had two problems, (fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice, shame on me), so two years ago I did some research and picked Villages Pool & Spa.
Mark is the owner of a tightly run company. He answers the phone at 250-1974 and has been terrific. I rent my home a lot and I have never had a renter say that the pool was anything but perfect. On my surprise visits I find the same.
So, I get great service, immediate contact with the boss if I need it, and a monthly fee a little less than T&D. What's not to like?!!
