After the Hurricane Stories
There are going to be many instances of crazy "after the hurricane" stories, how about this one.
A huge beautiful old oak came down on the corner of our street. It was blown across the road which completely blocked the road, so someone decided to drive over my friends yard to get around the corner. There are six or seven side streets this person could have used, but preferred to take the easy way out and drive over someone's grass and yard!:ohdear: |

We live in Village Alhambra..on the pond..the pond filled nicely from Irma's contribution to above the 4' drain pipes..but Monday we started noticing the water level lower a bit and notice 3 sinkholes develope on lawns on the other side of the pond...
Tuesday the water went lower and we noticed another sinkhole and today 2 more sinkholes in the pond bed and now the pond is almost dry...several residents called District to advise and were told the District Mgr was on his way here but nobody has seen him/her |

Seriously though, how dang selfish and inconsiderate...can a person get? Then again, your friend could track the car down...and remove all the valve stems in their tires. :ho: |
On the other hand. I have heard tales of people doing all kinds of good things for others. Taking them into their homes, sharing food, taking them to the doctor, checking on friends homes who aren't here. Clearing neighbors yards of debris.
