Closed tunnels
Maybe I missed any earlier posts, but does anyone know which tunnels are flooded out?
This morning, the tunnel near Havana was still closed. However, I rode to Saddlebrook rec center (from the south) and no other tunnels were closed except for Saddlebrook.
Yesterday the tunnel on Wedgewood Lane going to Wal-Mart was completely flooded.
Yesterday there was a number of them. I din't remember them all, but they will be the ones with water in them.
The one on the west side of Buena Vista near Eisenhower has water within a foot of the top of the tunnel. It will be a long time before it drains. The two on the east side near Brownwood are clear.

The tunnel from Buena Vista to Pinellas had about a foot of water in it at 4 this afternoon. The tunnel to Evan's Prairie golf course from Buena Vista was also flooded.
The tunnel on Buena Vista at Lake Miona Rec Center was flooded, but is now clear. I could get from just north of Lake Sumter Landing to Brownwood on Buena Vista, using the east side paths when close to Brownwood. |
Can I get from Palmer CC to Belevedere in a cart. I was over there 2 days ago and the tunnel under Buena Vista was flooded. Has the water receded?
