Rentals in the Villages
 

I have family interested in coming down the middle of October, renting a furnished home until the end of December. However with all the rental scams, are afraid.

Can someone tell me how to prevent getting involved in a rental scam here in the Villages ???

If you know of a trusted rental or have one yourself, drop me a note. Will be for two adults and a Yorkie 5 yoa (house broken).

I agree totally with the post above...they verify the ownership by checking property records. Or you can check ownership on the county website. I have never heard of anyone getting ripped off, let's not plant that seed. I have 2 rentals but not available for that total time period

I have a two bedroom rental in the village of Buttonwood. PM me and I will give you information if interested.

There are also a lot of tenant scams, just saying.

You should be able to check on the ownership from the county tax records. Do the same on the address you would be sending the paper work too. Not perfect but can help
