Native Plants in TV
 

I was watching a PBS show last evening about gardens, etc., and they were showing what can be done with native plants in the Southeastern US. I was wondering about which plants are native to the TV area and how they might be used in landscaping around TV homes. Also, the lawns in TV seem to be a perpetual maintenance problem. I also wonder if there is a native ground cover that would work better, or even if it is allowed. The program also showed a very low, very green, ground cover that seemed ideal for a small lawn but I don't believe they ever mentioned the name of the plant.
